1. Urban Forest Management Plan Toolkit Workshop – June 9, 2011 in Sacramento – registration now open!

The California Urban Forests Council and Sacramento Valley Urban Forests Council will offer a workshop on the Urban Forest Management Plan Toolkit!

This free resource helps city planners, arborists and involved community members collaborate to document the urban forest that your city currently has, the urban forest that you would like to have in the future, and the steps needed to achieve your goals.

This event features Ted Swiecki, one of the bright minds behind the toolkit.

Date: June 9, 2011 from 11:30 - 2:30.

Place: West Sacramento City Hall, Galleria Room, 1110 W Capitol Ave, West Sacramento, CA 95691

The conference is planned for September 15 - 17, 2011 at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Palo Alto. We look forward to an engaging and exciting conference, complete with your participation!
